PRODUCT-SPECIFIC WARRANTY COVERAGE

The following warranty provisions apply to specific product categories manufactured and/or distributed by YOK Grills and Cookuun®. Warranty terms, durations, limitations, and exclusions may vary by product. Please review the applicable section below for the product you have purchased.

This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit, any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

YOK GRILL – VOLUNTARY LIMITED WARRANTY
GENERAL WARRANTY PROVISIONS

YOK Grills’ Voluntary Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is provided to you at no additional charge. This Warranty contains important information regarding your rights and obligations and outlines the terms under which your YOK Grill product will be repaired or replaced in the unlikely event of a defect.

Pursuant to applicable laws, you may have certain statutory rights in the event your product is defective, including but not limited to repair, replacement, reduction in purchase price, or rescission. Such statutory rights are not affected by this Warranty. This Warranty provides additional rights that are independent of such statutory provisions.

WARRANTY COVERAGE

YOK Grills warrants to the original purchaser of the YOK Grill product, or in the case of a gift or promotional item, the person for whom it was purchased, that the product shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the applicable warranty periods set forth below, provided the product is assembled, installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with the accompanying Owner’s Guide and all applicable instructions.

Under normal, private, single-family residential use, YOK Grills agrees, within the framework of this Warranty, to repair or replace defective parts or components within the applicable warranty periods, subject to the limitations and exclusions described herein.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS EXTENDED ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER AND IS NON-TRANSFERABLE, except in the case of gifts or promotional items.

OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES

To maintain eligibility for Warranty coverage, the Owner shall:

Retain the original proof of purchase (sales receipt or invoice)

Ensure proper assembly, use, and maintenance of the product

Follow all instructions contained in the Owner’s Guide

Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance

Failure to comply with these responsibilities may void this Warranty unless the Owner can demonstrate that the defect is unrelated to such non-compliance.

For products used in coastal environments or near chlorinated water sources, regular cleaning and rinsing of exterior surfaces is required.

WARRANTY HANDLING / CLAIM PROCESS

If you believe that a part or component is defective and covered under this Warranty, you must contact YOK Grills Customer Service using the contact information provided below.

Upon review and investigation, YOK Grills will, at its sole discretion:

Repair the defective component, or

Replace the defective component, or

Replace the entire product with one of equal or greater value

YOK Grills reserves the right to request return of defective parts for inspection, with shipping charges prepaid by the customer.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This Warranty shall not apply to damages, deterioration, or defects resulting from or attributable to:

Abuse, misuse, neglect, improper installation, or improper operation

Alteration, modification, or unauthorized repair

Failure to perform routine maintenance

Use of non-genuine YOK Grills parts or accessories

Environmental exposure, including but not limited to salt air, chemicals, or chlorinated environments

Insect or rodent activity

Acts of nature, including but not limited to fire, flooding, hurricanes, earthquakes, or severe weather events

Any unauthorized modification or conversion of the product will void this Warranty.

WARRANTY PERIODS

Metal Components: One (1) Year (no rust-through or burn-through)

Plastic Components: One (1) Year (excluding fading and discoloration)

DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH HEREIN, THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

YOK Grills shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

The exclusive remedy under this Warranty shall be repair or replacement

Total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product

This Warranty applies to residential use only and does not apply to commercial or multi-user environments.

COOKUUN® GRILL COVER – VOLUNTARY LIMITED WARRANTY
GENERAL WARRANTY PROVISIONS

Cookuun’s Voluntary Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is provided at no additional charge and governs the terms under which Cookuun® Grill Covers are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship.

This Warranty is provided in addition to any statutory rights available under applicable law and does not limit or replace such rights.

LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE

Cookuun warrants to the original purchaser of the Cookuun® Grill Cover, or in the case of a gift or promotional item, the recipient thereof, that the product shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of original purchase, when used under normal residential outdoor conditions.

During the applicable warranty period, Cookuun will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any defective product or component, subject to the limitations and exclusions set forth herein.

THIS WARRANTY IS NON-TRANSFERABLE AND APPLIES ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER, except in the case of gifts or promotional items.

OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES

To maintain Warranty coverage, the Owner shall:

Retain proof of purchase

Use the product only for its intended purpose

Ensure that grills or equipment are fully cooled prior to covering

Periodically clean and dry the product to prevent buildup of moisture, debris, or contaminants

Avoid conditions that result in prolonged standing water, snow accumulation, or excessive stress on the material

Failure to adhere to these responsibilities may result in denial of Warranty coverage unless the defect is demonstrably unrelated.

WARRANTY COVERAGE DETAILS

This Warranty covers defects in:

Fabric materials resulting from manufacturing defects

Stitching and seam construction under normal use

Zippers, closures, and fastening systems

Integrated structural features, including handles, vents, and base panels

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This Warranty does not cover, and Cookuun shall not be responsible for, damage or deterioration resulting from:

Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to fabric abrasion, thinning, or loss of flexibility

Natural fading, discoloration, or degradation due to ultraviolet (UV) exposure

Cracking, peeling, stiffening, or other material changes resulting from environmental exposure over time

Mold, mildew, or moisture-related damage resulting from improper ventilation or storage

Covering hot or improperly cooled equipment

Exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to chlorine, saltwater, or cleaning agents

Damage caused by animals, pests, or insects

Severe weather conditions, including high winds, storms, hail, or flooding

Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper handling

Unauthorized alterations or modifications

ADDITIONAL NOTE ON MATERIAL PERFORMANCE

This Warranty reflects our commitment to long-term outdoor performance; however, all outdoor fabrics will naturally age over time when exposed to the elements.

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

To initiate a Warranty claim, the Owner must contact Cookuun Customer Support using the contact information below and provide proof of purchase along with a description of the issue.

Cookuun reserves the right to request photographs, supporting documentation, or return of the product for inspection, with shipping charges prepaid.

Upon validation of a claim, Cookuun will, at its sole discretion:

Repair the product, or

Replace the product with the same or comparable model of equal or greater value

DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

Cookuun shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

The exclusive remedy shall be repair or replacement of the product

Liability shall not exceed the original purchase price

ADDITIONAL TERMS

This Warranty applies solely to residential use and is void for commercial or institutional applications

Replacement products or components are warranted only for the remainder of the original warranty period

Cookuun reserves the right to modify product designs without obligation to update previously manufactured products
